Pl. Tht. 174d, R. 370d; βοῶν ἀγέλης ν. X. Mem. 1.2.32; ν. προβάτων Arist. EN 1161a14. II. dealer out, distributor, ἀγαθῶν Pl. Lg. 931d, cf. Min. 317d, 321b.
