μέτειμι (εἰμί sum), A. to be among, c. dat. pl., ἄνδρεσσι μετέμμεναι Il. 18.91; ὄφρʼ ἂν ζωοῖσιν μετέω 22.388; οἷς ὁ γέρων μετέῃσιν 3.109; εἰ λαοῖσι μετείη 2.15: abs., οὐ γὰρ παυσωλή γε μετέσσεται no interval of rest will be mine, Il. 2.386. II. impers., μέτεστί μοί τινος I have a share in or claim to a thing, 1.171, etc.; τί τοῦδε σοὶ μ. πράγματος; Eu. 575; κἀμοὶ πόλεως μ. OT 630, cf.
