Hp.Ma. 303a, cf. Pi. I. 8(7).31, Th. 1.20, etc. ; when joined with a Subst., the Subst. almost always takes the Art. (so in Att. Inscrr. exc. IG 12.372.137), as ἐφʼ ἑ. τῷ κέρᾳ Th. 5.67 ; ἐπὶ τῷ κέρᾳ ἑ. Id. 4.93 ; ἑ. τῇ πόλει Id. 5.16 : sts. with Noun or Pron. in gen., ἑκάτερος ἡμῶν Id. 6.17 ; ἑκατέρᾳ τῶν χειρῶν D.S. 4.10 : as nom. to pl.
