ἀφιλότιμος, ον, A. lacking in ambition, 7.35, 69, EN 1107b29: Sup., 6.48.8; βίος ἀ. εἰς δόξαν Inscr.Prien. 112.11, cf. VSp.491 B. Adv. -μως 12.23.8; πρὸς πολίτας ζῆν 2.525d; but also, without fear or favour, impartial, 9(2).517.34 (Epist. Philipp.). 2. simply, indifferent, πρὸς κάλλος AJ 2.9.6. Adv. -μως lukewarmly, 2p.5.
