ὄψ (A), ἡ, poetic Noun, used in obliq. cases of sg., ὀπός, ὀπί, ὄπα, A. voice, whether in speaking, shouting, lamenting, Ἀτρείδεω ὀπὸς ἔκλυον Il. 16.76, cf. 14.150, 18.222, 22.451, etc.; or in singing, Κίρκης . . ἀειδούσης ὀπὶ καλῇ Od. 10.221, cf. 5.61; ἄειδον ἀμειβόμεναι ὀπὶ καλῇ Il. 1.604, cf.
