Fr. 123.3 (as pr.n.):— A. crook-beaked: hence, generally, curved, in Hom. always of ships, παρὰ νηυσὶ κορωνίσι Il. 18.338, al.; twice in Od., ἐν νήεσι κ. 19.182, cf.193. 2. of kine, with crumpled horns, Theoc. 25.151.
