κλύζω, Ep.impf. κλύζεσκον Il. 23.61: Ep.fut. κλύσσω h.Ap. 75: aor. inf. κλύσαι Poll. 4.21 (v.l. κλεῖσαι):—Pass., aor. ἐκλύσθην: pf. κέκλυσμαι (v. infr.):—A. of the sea, wash, dash over, c. acc., ἔνθʼ ἐμὲ μὲν μέγα κῦμα . . κλύσσει h.Ap.l.c.: abs., surge up, κύματος δίκην κλύζειν πρὸς αὐγάς (Auratus for κλύειν) A.
