διάνδιχα, Adv. A. = ἄνδιχα, two ways, δ. μερμηρίζειν halt between two opinions, Il. 1.189; σοὶ δὲ δ. δῶκε endowed thee by halves, 9.37; in tmesi, διὰ δʼ ἄνδιχα θυμὸν ἔχουσιν Hes. Op. 13; διὰ δʼ ἄνδιχα ἔαξα broke it in twain, Theoc. 25.256, cf. A.R. 2.1109; once in Trag., δ. κλῇθρα κλίνεται E. HF 1029 (lyr.); also δ. νηὸς ἰούσης, perh. with sails and oars, A.R. 1.934.
