ἀποψύχω [ῡ]:—Pass., aor. ἀπεψύχθην and ἀπεψύχην [ῠ], v. infr., also ἀπεψύγην [ῠ] Hld. 2.3:—A. leave off breathing, faint, swoon, τὸν δὲ . . εἷλεν ἀποψύχοντα Od. 24.348; ἀ. ἀπὸ φόβου Ev.Luc. 21.26. 2. c. acc., ἀπέψυξεν βίον breathed out life, S.
