ἀλωή [ᾰ], Dor. ἀλωά, ἡ, (ἀλέωA, cf. Att. ἅλως) poet.: I. threshing-floor, ἱερὰς κατʼ ἀλωάς Il. 5.499; μεγάλην κατʼ ἀλωήν, ἐϋκτιμένῃ ἐν ἀλωῇ, 13.588, 20.496, cf. Op. 597.
