ἀκιδνός [ᾰ], ή, όν, Ep. and Ion., A. weak, feeble, Hom. only in Od., always in Comp., εἶδος ἀκιδνότερος 8.169, cf. 5.217, 18.130, cf. Nic. Th. 224; later in Posit., δμωαί Man. 2.178: Sup. -ότατον, βέλεμνον Nonn. D. 7.270; insipid, ἔδεσμα Archestr. Fr. 38 B.
