περιπατέω, A. walk up and down, as in a cloister, opp. βαδίζειν (take a walk), ἐν ταῖς στοαῖς ap. 2.796d ; walk about, Eq. 744, V. 237 ; περιπατῶν ἀνδριάς 204 ; ἐν τῷ καταστέγῳ δρόμῳ Euthd. 273a ; π. ἄνω κάτω Lys. 709 ; π. περιπάτους Mem. 3.13.5, cf.
