παράπαν, Adv. for παρὰ πᾶν, A. altogether, absolutely, in correct writers always joined with Art., τὸ π. Hdt. 1.61, Th. 6.80, etc. ; εἰς τὸ π. in perpetuity, Rev.Bibl. 39.532 (Palmyra, ii A. D.). 2. freq. with neg., τὸ π. οὐδέν not at all, Hdt. 1.32 ; τὸ π. οὐδὲ γρῦ Ar. Pl. 17, cf. Isoc. 17.35, etc. ; μὴ ζητεῖν αὐτὴν . . τὸ π. Pl. Tht. 187a ; οὐκ εἰμὶ τὸ π. ἄθεος Id.
