Sph. 263d ; ὄ. φιλοσοφεῖν Epicur. Fr. 220 ; opp. to ὡς ἔπος εἰπεῖν, Pl. Lg. 656e ; to εἰκότως, Antipho 2.2.10 and 4.10 : in Pl. with the part. ὤν, οὖσα, ὄν, to imply real existence, Phdr. 247c, 247e, R. 597d : also with Nouns, τὰ ὄντως ἀγαθά Id.
