κορυδός, ἡ, (κόρυς) A. lark, esp. crested lark, Alauda cristata, Ar. Av. 472, al. (on the accent v. Hdn.Gr.1.143):—also κόρῠδος, ὁ, Pl.Com. 266, Pl. Euthd. 291b, Arist. HA 559a2, 614a33: prov., κ. ἐν ἀμούσοις φθέγγεται, ‘au royaume des aveugles les borgnes sont rois’, Eust. 1072.40.—Other forms are: κορυδών, ῶνος, ὁ, Arist.
