HP 9.5.1, PSI 6.628 (iii B.C.), OGI 214.59 (Didyma, iii B.C.), etc.: κῐνάμωμον, D.P. 945 (pl.), also in codd. of D.S. 1.91, v.l. in Hdt. l.c.; cf. κίνναμον. II. name of a fabulous Indian bird, said to make its nest of twigs of κιννάμωμον (cf. κινναμολόγος), Arist. HA 616a6, Antig. Mir. 43, Ael. NA 2.34.
