ὁμοειδής, ές, A. of the same species or kind, whether in regard to natural distinctions, Metaph. 1032a24, GA 747b30, al. ; or logical, Rh. 1405a36 : generally, τὰ ὁ. Sent.Vat. 73, cf. Fr. 17, etc. : c. dat., Herc. 346p.86V. 2. of like form, κρατῆρες 34.11.17 ; homogeneous, Ph. 188a13 (codd.omnes), Metaph. 1014a30. Adv. -δῶς Rh. 2.244 , 9.35. 3. generally, corresponding, ἡλικίῃ μάλιστα τῇ ὁμοειδέϊ at the corresponding season, of dogs going mad θέρεος καὶ ὑπὸ κύνα, Ep. 19 (Hermes 53.70). 4. uniform, κίνησις 3.7.8 ; unaltered, ἄνθος 4.58. 5. of an author, lacking in variety, monotonous, Pomp. 3, cf.
