Prt. 321d, al.; opp. ἄτεχνος, πίστεις Arist. Rh. 1355b36; ἡ ἔ. μέθοδος the regular method, ib.a4. Adv. -ως Id. SE 172a35 (condemned by Phryn. 327 (who however cites Adv. -ῶς from Lys. Fr. 314 S.)). II. of persons, skilled, ἔ. δημιουργός a cunning workman, Pl. Lg. 903c, cf. Plt. 300e.
