αἰθέριος, α, ον, also ος, ον Fr. 839.10, Mu. 392a31:—A. of αἰθήρ or the upper air, hence, 1. high in air, on high, Pr. 158 (anap.), Th. 81, OC 1082, etc.; αἰθερία ἀνέπτα flew up into the air, Med. 440, cf. Andr. 830; αἰ. γῆ, of the moon, ap. in Cael. 511.26: epith. of Zeus, Mu. 401a17. 2. ethereal, heavenly, φύσις 10.1; οἱ αἰ. in CA 27 P.484M.; γονή Fr.l.c. Adv. -ίως Myst. 1.9.—Trag. only in lyr.
