συμπεριλαμβάνω, A. gather together, τὸ τοῦ ἱματίου περικεχυμένον Sor. Vit.Hippocr. 12; enclose or include together, [τοῖς νεύροις] ὀστᾶ καὶ μυελόν Pl. Ti. 74d, cf. Hp. Fist. 4; τὰ ᾠά Arist. HA 549a33; πολλὴν ἀναθυμίασιν Id. Mete. 358a33:—Pass., Pl. Ti. 83d. 2. embrace, include, τὰ γένη ib.58a; comprehend in a treaty with others, ἐν ταῖς συνθήκαις Philipp. ap. D. 18.77 (Pass.), cf. Decr. ap. eund.18.29, Epicur. Nat. 28.9; embrace in the same history, Plb. 8.11.4, cf. D.S. 16.94, etc.:—Pass., ἐν τῷ λόγῳ συμπεριειλῆφθαι Arist. Top. 142a31, cf. Thphr.
