προσοιστέος, α, ον, (προσφέρω) A. to be added to, οὐ προσοιστέος ἄλλος [θάνατος] πρὸς ἄλλῳ E. Hec. 394; στέφανος π. Alex. 250. 2. to be offered, [θεῷ] Jul. Ep. 89b. II. προσοιστέον one must apply, πρέπουσαν μηχανήν Ar. Th. 1132, cf. Pl. Phdr. 272a, etc.; γυμνάσια Arist. Pol. 1338b40. III. (προσφέρομαι) to be administered (as food or medicine), τὰ π. Hp.
