ὀργιάζω, A. celebrate ὄργια, Ba. 415 (lyr.), etc.: c. acc., ὀ. τελετήν Phdr. 250c; ἱερά Lg. 910c; θυσίας, πομπάς, χορείας Num. 8: c. dat., pay ritual service to a god or goddess, ταύτῃ 10.3.12:—so in Med., ὀργιάζεσθαι δαίμοσι, and in Pass., of the sacred places, have service done in them, both in Lg. 717b. II. c. acc., honour or worship with ὄργια, ταύτην v.l. in l.c. ; τοὺς μεγάλους θεούς 1.69, cf. Cic. 19. 2. ὀ. τινά initiate into ὄργια, 2.158, Trag. 112.
