ὀνομαστικός, ή, όν, A. skilful at naming, Pl. Cra. 424a ; of or belonging to naming, hence ἡ τέχνη ἡ ὀνομαστική ib.423d ; ἡ -κή alone, ib.425a. II. ἡ -κή (sc. πτῶσις) the nominative case, Str. 14.1.41, D.T. 636.5, A.D. Synt. 107.4(pl.). III. τὸ -κόν (sc. βιβλίον) vocabulary, arranged acc. to the subjects, and not alphabetically as in a λεξικόν, such as the work of Jul. Pollux : -κά, τά, title of work by Democr. (Fr. 26a). IV. Adv. -κῶς by a special name, Ath. 14.646a ; in the nominative case, Hermog. Inv. 4.4.
