κόρση, ἡ, Att. κόρρη, Dor. κόρρα 14.34, Aeol. κόρσα 34.5:—A. temple, side of the forehead (in this sense not in pl., for wh. κρόταφοι is used, but cf. Onom. 13, 2.40), ξίφει ἤλασε κόρσην Il. 5.584, cf. 13.576; τόν ῥʼ Ὀδυσεὺς . . βάλε κόρσην· ἡ δʼ ἑτέροιο διὰ κροτάφοιο πέρησεν αἰχμή 4.502, cf.
