ὑπέξειμι, (εἶμι ibo) A. withdraw gradually, Hdt. 4.120, 7.211: generally, withdraw, disappear, ὅταν μηθὲν ἔτι ὑπεξίῃ . . λυπηρόν Metrod. Fr. 28; of fire or snow, disappear gradually, Pl.
