ὁπλιτικός, ή, όν, A. of or for a man-at-arms, μάχη Pl. R. 374d ; αἱ ὁ. τάξεις X. HG 3.4.16 ; ὅπλα ib.4.2.7. 2. ἡ -κή (sc. τέχνη) the art of using heavy arms, the soldier’s art, Pl.
