ἡμερόω, (ἥμερος) A. tame, make tame, 1. prop. of wild beasts, HA 488a29 (Pass.), Gp. 16.21.2; but simply, to be pacified, R. 493b (Pass.); δώροις Lg. 906d. 2. of plants and trees, reclaim, cultivate, ἡ. ἐξ ἀγρίων Aër. 12, cf.
