ἑκάτερος (Dor. ϝεκ- Leg.Gort. 1.18, Michel 995 A 49 (Delph.)), α, ον, Α. each of two, each singly, opp. ἀμφότεροι, 2.33 ; εἷς ἑ. Syngr. ap. 35.12 ; αὐτὸ τὸ ἑ. καὶ τὸ ἀμφότερον Hp.Ma. 303a, cf. I. 8(7).31, 1.20, etc. ; when joined with a Subst., the Subst. almost always takes the Art. (so in Att. Inscrr. exc.
