εὐνοῦχος, ὁ, (εὐνή, ἔχω) A. castrated person, eunuch, employed to take charge of the women and act as chamberlain (whence the name, ὁ τὴν εὐνὴν ἔχων), 3.130, al., Ach. 117, Cyr. 7.5.60, etc. 2. of animals, Her. 1.3, Sch.Par. 1.585. 3. of dates, without stones, Fr. 267:— name for θρίδαξ, Lycus ap. 2.69e.
