ἐντέλλω, A. enjoin, command, Act. only in O. 7.40, Fr. 269:— mostly in Med., τινί τι 1.47, etc.; in a will, φίλοις ταῦτα ἐντέλλομαι 66: c. dat. pers. et inf., 1.53, R. 393e, etc.; ἐντείλασθαι ἀπὸ γλώσσης command by word of mouth, 1.123: so in pf., ἐντέταλται 3 Ki. 13.17; ἐντεταλμένοι εἴησαν 18.2.1, cf. 1.9.9:—Pass., τὰ ἐντεταλμένα commands, 1.60,5.73, Fr. 462, Cyr. 5.5.3.
