ἐνδέω (B), fut. -δεήσω Hdt. 7.18, etc.:—Α. fall short, c. inf., τίνος ἐνδέομεν μὴ οὐ χωρεῖν; what do we lack of going? E. Tr. 797, cf. IA 41 (anap.); ὅσου ἐνδέουσιν . . τὰ αὐτὰ ἔχειν how much they fall short of being indentical, Pl. Cra. 432d; ἕως γʼ ἂν μηδὲν ἐνδέῃ τοῦ ποιμενικὴ εἶναι Id.
