ἐνδέω (B), fut. -δεήσω 7.18, etc.:—Α. fall short, c. inf., τίνος ἐνδέομεν μὴ οὐ χωρεῖν; what do we lack of going? Tr. 797, cf. IA 41 (anap.); ὅσου ἐνδέουσιν . . τὰ αὐτὰ ἔχειν how much they fall short of being indentical, Cra. 432d; ἕως γʼ ἂν μηδὲν ἐνδέῃ τοῦ ποιμενικὴ εἶναι R. 345d, cf. 529d, Phd. 74d:—also in Med., to be in want of, lack, δριμύτητος ἐνδεῖται Plt. 311a, cf.
