ἐκεῖθεν, poet. κεῖθεν (the only form used by Hom., also in Trag. where metre requires) : Aeol. κήνοθεν Alc. 86 : Dor. τηνῶθεν Ar. Ach. 754 ; τηνῶθε Theoc. 3.10:—Adv. A. from that place, thence, opp. ἐκεῖσε, S. Ph. 490, etc. ; of a person, τἀκεῖθεν εἰ ποθούμεθα on his part, Id. Tr. 632 ; ὁ ἐ. ἄγγελος Pl. R. 619b ; τὸ σκῆπτρον ἐ. παραλαβόντες Jul.
