ἐγγίγνομαι, Ion. and later ἐγγίνομαι [ῑ], fut. ἐγγενήσομαι: 3pl. Ep. pf. ἐγγεγάᾱσι (the only tense used by ):—A. to be born in, τοὶ Ἰλίῳ ἐγγεγάασιν Il. 6.493, cf.
