ἀποκληρόω, A. choose by lot from a number, Hdt. 2.32; ἀ. ἕνα ἐκ δεκάδος Id. 3.25; ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν λόχων Th. 4.8: at Athens, choose or elect by lot, πρυτάνεις Id. 8.70, cf. And. 1.82; σιτοφύλακας ἀ.
