ἀποβαίνω, fut. -βήσομαι, with Ep. aor. 1 -εβήσετο Il. 2.35: aor. 2 ἀπέβην: pf. ἀποβέβηκα—in these tenses intr. (pres. not in ):— Α. step off from a place, νηὸς ἀ. alight, disembark from a ship, Od. 13.281; ἀπὸ τῶν νεῶν, ἀπὸ τῶν πλοίων, 5.86,4.110; ἐκ τῶν νεῶν HG 5.1.12:abs., disembark, 2.29, 1.111, etc.; ἀ. ἐς χώρην 7.8.βʹ, cf.
